Our volunteering program is aimed at students of Spanish who are interested in helping the local community, whilst practising their Spanish in an authentic and real environment. We work with various associations and businesses whose fields include the environment, education, social work and wine production.
If you are interested in learning Spanish this is an excellent opportunity to learn about Spain and the Spanish culture and get fluent speaking Spanish.

Participants have a great choice of volunteering experience: working in allotments, local nursery schools and even organic vineyards, or collaborating with associations such as the Red Cross or Proyecto Hombre. Students volunteer for a minimum of 10 hours per week. The school may recommend a particular organisation depending on the student’s level of Spanish, as in order to fully benefit and contribute to some programmes a certain level of fluency is required.
The volunteering programme is of course supplemented with a formal academic component, comprising of group lessons. As well as this, students can participate in the different events and activities that we organise weekly at the school. In line with the philosophy of immersion in the local community, students stay with host families on a full-board basis.
Our program for volunteers offers the possibility to live with an Andalusian family, to learn about Spanish culture and to combine this unforgettable adventure with Spanish classes. All families participating in the program have been carefully selected to guarantee the quality of the experience. With a minimum stay of two weeks, the volunteers will feel like they are part of the family whilst contributing to the community.

In addition, you will have plenty of free time to travel, participate in the events organized at the language school and enjoy all that Andalusia has to offer.

When can I start?
You can start at anytime during the year.
Your arrival in Spain:
We request that the family meets and greets you at the airport.
Insurance and health:
If you are an EU member you will be entitled to medical care in Spain. If you would like to buy insurance to cover your belongings we recommend that you buy it before you arrive. However, this is not necessary. If you are from outside of the EU we recommend that buy medical insurance before you travel.
Flights:
Only arrange flights once you have completed the selection process and you have received a confirmation letter with the details of the family where you will be living.
